Knowinsys is a quiet place for snapshots of knowledge as it was experienced — from travel, from study, from watching technology change across a lifetime — set down as they are, and offered the same way.

About Knowinsys
The name, and the idea it carries.
KNOWINSYS stands for Knowledge Inherited Systems.
The world, as I see it, is not a fixed thing but a constant evolution — from one knowledge as experienced to one above it. What we see at any moment is only a snapshot: knowledge acquired, and precipitated, up to that point.
That does not mean being stuck with the past, or defending it as a conservative would. The known is not a resting place. Knowledge is for facing the unknown from the known — and the unknown is the very space in which the known consolidates and grows.
“The unknown is the space in which the known consolidates.”
I have watched one such arc closely: the evolution of information technology, from computers with no operating system at all to the age of artificial intelligence. It is astonishing — not only for what changed, but for how much changed within the span of a single watching.
Yet this is not about swimming over the stream bed of knowledge, carried along by the current. It is about also looking up — to the space still open, out to the horizon.
Knowinsys is a place to set down such snapshots: notes from travel, studies in the Upanishads, inquiries into consciousness, a worldview as experienced, and experiences with the new AI tools. They are offered as they are — take them, or leave them.
The horizon stays open.

Currents
Five streams of notes, published as they ripen. Filter to the one you came for.
Travel
Places, and what they quietly teach
Travel notes written for the places themselves — what a landscape, a road, or a city shows about how people live with their knowledge. No itineraries of anyone in particular, no one exposed; the journey, not the travellers.

Upanishads
Studies in the Upanishads
Reading notes and views formed over long study — the texts taken slowly, verse by verse, and set against a life that has also been lived in technology. Interpretation offered as one reader's, plainly marked as such.

Consciousness
Inquiries into consciousness
What is it that experiences? Notes at the meeting point of the old inquiry and the new one — where the Upanishadic question and the modern science of mind look at each other, and neither blinks first.

Worldview
A worldview, as experienced
How the world looks after decades of watching it change — set down whole, as it was arrived at. This current is statement, not debate: it is offered as experienced, to take or to leave.

Working with AI
Field notes on the new tools
First-hand experience, so far, of working with the current generation of AI — what each tool does well, where it misleads, and what it feels like to meet, late in a long career in computing, machines that answer back.

Nothing here argues for a following. The worldview pages state a position arrived at over a lifetime; the study pages show their working. Readers are welcome to take what is useful and leave the rest by the roadside — the road continues either way.
